Josiah Thomas Dunn was born this afternoon! He is Luke & Lindsy's first baby, and Tim & Terri's first grandson! He is absolutely adorable. He weighs 6 pounds, 11 ounces and is 20 inches long. Everything went well (& fast!) during the labor & delivery process. We all agree that he looks a lot like Lindsy, but definitely has Luke's ears! Congratulations, Luke & Lindsy!

Maybe Addie's not the runt after all!
I took Addie in for her 4-month check-up today. At birth, she weighed 1 pound less and was 2 inches shorter than Annalee was at birth, so we just thought she would be our smaller child. Until today! She now weighs the same as Annalee did at 6 months (15 lb. 6 oz., 80th percentile), and she matches Annalee's height at 4 months (25 in., 75th percentile). That would explain why she is already outgrowing some of her 3-6 month clothing!

Addie

Addie has started to develop such a fun personality. She smiles a lot, and has already begun her singing career; she is serenading me as I type this. She turned 4 months old this past Saturday.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!
Friday night I went to an '80s-themed birthday party for my friend Shannon...it was so fun! We had a lip-syncing contest, a "best costume" contest (Suzanna won...love the painted acid-washed jacket!!), and did our best to reenact the choreography from "Thriller"...but quickly realized that we were a bunch of non-rythmic white girls. (And we did all this on cherry limeades.) It was also fun finding out from everyone which parts of their costumes were purchased at Good Will, and which parts came straight out of their closets!
Me, Christin, & Jenny lip-syncing "Walk Like an Egyptian"

EEWWWW!
Since it is such a beautiful day today, I took the girls to the park after lunch. Annalee's favorite thing to do is pick up handfuls of sand and put it on the swings, slides, etc. Well, I was watching her do this, but then Addie spit up all over both of us. (Not the gross part.) So, I was tending to that mess when I looked up to see Annalee shoveling sand into her MOUTH! After I gagged a few times I was able to tell her to stop and spit it out, but she didn't! She kept chewing! And then she swallowed it. I thought I was going to be sick. I hope she doesn't catch some disease that scientists haven't even discovered yet.
